March 15, 2024, I watched an interesting video: Dr. Joe Dispenza’s BEST Lecture on Manifesting What You Want | Joe Dispenza Meditation Seminar
I later found out this video was related to quantum manifestation, also known as the Law of Attraction. In a nutshell, the power of the universe can be harnessed for the wants and needs of our lives.
On a side note and with no disrespect intended towards Dr. Dispenza, he seemed to be promoting training seminars. That’s not something I ever do. I’m a cheap bastard and also enjoy doing things myself, most often modifying how others achieve the same goals.
A day later, I was preparing for one of my daily 3 hour walks. I have heart failure and not quite ready yet for a transplant. For some reason I decided to make a list of videos to listen to while I walked, on quantum mechanics – probably because I watched the quantum manifestation video the day before.
I wanted a refresher on the science that underpins quantum manifestation.
Very late that night (actually the wee hours of the next day) I listened to a podcast: Quantum Manifestation.
While I was listening, I realized that I felt the method proposed in the podcast made sense, but was too complicated with too many steps and caveats for me.
That same day I began putting together a thread on X, where I simplified the process of quantum manifestation into a few easy steps. I was specifically targeting my heart for repair. I also realized that I had to do this in balance with current medical care.
Below is the thread I created:

To make navigation easier, here is some of the X posts text, with active links:
- Modified treatment plan to repair damaged heart (doctors only offer transplant):
- Keep doing all cardiologist asks (safety net).
- Add placebo (belief in healing), AKA Law of Attraction, quantum manifestation or prayer.
- Label daily brew [coffee mug]: heart repair.
- Experience magic!
Its been proven (h/t @jimalkhalili) Niels Bohr was right: reality only exists when we observe or measure it. And I add experience it. Einstein wrong thinking moon had to be there even when not viewing it.
Quantum Physics: The Science That Defies All Logic
Given that reality is formed based on our belief that we and things we experience exist, I extrapolated we can alter reality by harnessing the same energy from the quantum field with a simple decision, like my coffee mug heart repair kit idea.
You can delve deeper into quantum manifestation with this blog. I find it too complicated with too many steps to be practical for myself. But the information is good.
Quantum Manifestation: Co-Create a Life You Love with the Power of the Quantum Field
I want you to doubt me (at first) and do your own research. My previous primary care physician told me the placebo effect was very real. This is indeed true. Check this out: Placebo: a brief updated review (2022)
In conclusion, we believe that the placebo effect is not imaginary. It is real as its neurophysiological basis is becoming known. Although the intensity and frequency of the placebo effect are difficult to determine in clinical practice, placebo should be taken into account by doctors and nurses as another therapeutic option that, alone or associated with other treatment, could be useful in certain circumstances.
Clues abound us about quantum mind powered healing…
Back in the 1990’s I was given some information that I don’t think I was supposed to be told. A Shaman-in-training confided in me that when someone came to him for spiritual healing, he would do some kind of chant and ritual for his patient. This process was actually a lie. I suppose we could be kind and call it a vehicle or mechanism.
He told me he did this because his patients were incapable of self-healing without being tricked. They refused to believe the power was within themselves all along. I guess maybe also, they liked hanging out with a shaman.
A kinda wacky analogy is in the story of the Wizard of Oz. Dorothy wanted to return home to Kansas from Oz and went through hell when all along, she had the power within herself to make the trip. It turned out that the Wizard was a powerless buffoon and conman.

Speaking of being tricked, here’s another example: when people go to a preacher to be healed and in front of a huge crowded church get up out of their wheelchairs.
Sure, some of these miracles are fake plants in the audience. But I think some people are actually healed, at least helped for the short term.
In the photo below, in spite of what I just wrote, I do believe the pastor to be sincere and is indeed helping some of his parishioners harness the healing power of in his mind, God. Or is it really the quantum field? Does it matter? NO!
Science minded people of good intent who sometimes call themselves humanists, should stop being closed-minded fools and begin to appreciate the real power of faith in our lives.

My final real-life clue is the old-time snake-oil salesman. Yes, these were conmen selling placebo (and hopefully nothing harmful added) to unwitting consumers.
Why did people buy these potions? Perhaps because they believed they would help their rheumatism and it actually did help for some folks!

Now you know why my daily brew is now my heart repair kit! It is the belief in the cure and not the actual medicine that is the cure! The pretend medicine is a vehicle or mechanism, akin to a movie created to make an emotional imprint on your mind.
So-called placebo is the future of medicine. And the kindest one possible! No nasty side effects!
Another couple tidbits to add into the mix…
When I was in the hospital 3 years ago with heart failure, my doctors began me on a cocktail of medicines. And I realized how in the hell do they know that they will all work in concert without harmful side effects?
I decided to ignore that and told myself that I would take the medicine prescribed, they would work perfectly and there would be no side effects.
3 years later, knock on wood, my desire has largely been reality!
Around a year and a half ago, I had a consult with an electrophysiologist named Dr. Waks. They are the type of doctor that works on the heart’s electrical system, including installing pacemakers and related devices.
It was determined that I needed an ICD (Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator). Basically, this is a pacemaker defibrillator.
During our telehealth consult, I told Dr. Waks that he would do an amazing job when he did my surgery to implant the ICD. He kinda chuckled.
Some-odd months later, Dr. Waks did the procedure. Afterwards in the recovery room, he told me (paraphrased): “Normally when I do these procedures I am like, yeah, that went OK. But your procedure was fantastic!”
I then replied: “Do you remember when I told you that you would do an amazing job?” Dr. Waks replied: “Yes you did!”
Yes, surgical placebo (belief in successful surgery manifesting into a better outcome) is a real thing, just as real as thinking a sugar pill or Dr. Katz’s Magical Elixir will cure your rheumatism.
Add this to the mix…
Where does a great improvised jazz solo come from? Sure, a musician has to learn how to play their instrument, hone up on scales, arpeggios and phrases. But when it comes time to perform, they let go and let the universe guide their fingers!
When I pick up my guitar, many times I have this special feeling that tells me I am about to effortlessly create a nice jazz solo. I think that is me tuning into the unknown.
I’m now thinking that aside from the skills and talent needed, beautiful improvised music comes from the quantum field.

I’ve had 2 very profound what I thought were most likely spiritual experiences. I now think I may have been tapping the quantum field’s awesome energy and because what I was doing was out of pure love, reality was altered practically in real-time!
Here’s what I wrote and at the time, attributed the results to the divine or perhaps extraterrestrial visitors (long story) I feel that I have a relationship with:
Early to mid-1990s was taking care of grandfather in his early 90s. He was OK for a while, had a bout of pneumonia then ended up in a nursing home. My family decided to take him back to his apartment where I was his caregiver.
He was OK for a while but began to lose his strength and ended up in a wheel chair. He was miserable. One night, I got into a state of deep trance or prayer and begged his departed wife to take him to the spirit world. The next day he peacefully passed away.
Late 90s, my mom was very sick with cancer and needed surgery. I just knew she would not make it. I asked her if she wanted a rabbi and she exclaimed vehemently “No!” She was an atheist Jew.
I prayed to God or asked the ‘visitors’ to help her. It was a similar feeling that I had when I asked for help for my grandfather: A feeling knowing my prayer/request would be answered because it was out of sincere love.
Beautiful solution: Next day or so later, mom told me that the ghost of Timmy the tiger cat, had visited her. Timmy walked by the foot of her bed: I asked her what did that mean? She said, “Follow me.”
What a wonderful way to help a non-believer get prepared for the next leg of her spiritual journey! Beautiful!
Was the above quantum manifestation? God? Benevolent aliens? Does it matter? I really think it’s all the same ball of wax!
If we believe something will happen, reality is hard-wired to make it happen. The trick here is to give up any doubt and totally believe in the outcome of your desire.
The only caveat I’ve uncovered so far is some things cannot be altered by belief. As best as I can tell, prior to life and for experiential value, we agree to a soul contract where we will go through certain things (including painful ones). Everything else though is fair game, because the default is free-will.
Final thought…
If after reading my thoughts and considering my arguments and evidence, you can’t find it possible to stick a post-it note on your coffee mug for some benefit you need – how is that even possible? Is your mind that closed? There is no possible harm and only potential gain!
With over 8,500 followers on X at the time of authoring this blog, only 1 person that I know of has agreed to try my coffee mug method. And I think they only did it because they are also a close friend who has seen what appear to be my crazy ideas come to fruition.

If you’ve enjoyed my blog, please consider tossing in some ducats into my PayPal gift jar. I’m still disabled and unable to work.
Be well,
